“ The food was very nice, the staff was very friendly. The house wine was good enough. We enjoyed the dinner a lot. ”
“ This is really good food for an excellent price, a quieter place away from the tourist frenzy. It’s a family restaurant and they are so nice and welcoming, highly recommend! They serve several options with a plate of the day, whith a soup and dessert of the day if you want it too (which is traditional in Portugal and Spain, clearly some ignorant tourists don’t know good quality food and how local, traditional places work, guessing from the few 1 star reviews here complaining). Best regards from the Spanish dad and daughters ”
“ Food was so delicious! It definitely gave you the kind of comfort you get from a homemade meal. Just beware that they don't take foreign cards so bring cash. ”
“ We loved the food and kind service! We'll definitely visit again. ”
“ Great typical and cheap Portuguese food. Ask for the dish of the day that cost around 5 euros. ”
“ Came here as we had time to kill between dropping our bags off and checking in, so came here for lunch around 12:30pm. Was quiet. We were kindly recommended dishes of the day by the waiter who had very good English. We tried his recommendations and they were all good. Fish in rice, pork chop and veal cutlet. Just that we found a worm in one of the salads, but we just didn’t eat the salad. ”
“ Hidden gem in the city centre!!! Amazing and truly authentic Portuguese food, with very kind and attentive service. It’s like eating at a Portuguese friend’s house but better!!! Order the dish of the day, it will be delicious no matter what it is! Had the grilled sardines and they were soooooo good! The duck rice was also incredible. I highly recommend this place if you want to avoid the touristic places and eat great traditional food in a quieter, local street!! ”
